(LP + Download) Amy Duncan is a Scottish singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh. With her melodious acoustic sound and emotional songwriting infused with remarkable honesty, Amy has established herself as one of the brightest musical talents in Scotland. Undercurrents was funded by Creative Scotland, and produced by Calum Malcolm (The Blue Nile, Prefab Sprout), and follows on from her acclaimed 2013 Linn Records release "Cycles of Life". The album features Amy's long term collaborator Fiona Rutherford on harp, bassist Lawrie MacMillan (Stiltskin, Ray Wilson), drums by Liam Bradley (Van Morrison, Ronan Keating) and Scottish Chamber Orchestra musicians; Sijie Chen (violin), Jane Atkins (viola) and Donald Gillan (cello).
