 | Beschreibung: | In February 2009, the groundbreaking American Rock group And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead released their sixth LP, the Century of Self. By this point, the project which had originally formed as a duo in the mid-'90 's had transformed into a six-piece ensemble devoted to large-scale, uncompromising sounds - music that had as much in common with Progressive and Art Rock as with Indie or Punk. This concert was filmed for Rockpalast on 14 May 2009 at the Live Music Hall in Cologne, Germany. For more than 80 minutes, the six members leave it all onstage like a boxer trying to knock out his opponent with multiple body blows before he collapses from exhaustion himself. Not a single minute of it can be classified as easy listening. It's no secret that And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead resides at the other end of the artistic spectrum. In fact, one has to look long and hard to find anything comparable to their monumental walls of sound in contemporary rock music. Live at Rockpalast shows that reaching such heights is only possible with blood, sweat and tears., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Artwork: Helmut Havelka, Bass, Backing Vocals: Jay Leo Phillips, Drums, Percussion: Aaron Ford, Editor: Gisela Müller, Editor: Hannelore Eisele, Engineer [Sound Engineer]: Achim Kolz, Engineer [Vision Engineers]: Hardy Montenegro, Engineer [Vision Engineers]: Karl-Heinz Heiden, Engineer [Vision Engineers]: Wolfgang Nickel, Executive-Producer: Ulrike Gulden-Sanders, Guitar, Backing Vocals: Kevin Allen, Keyboards, Backing Vocals: Clay Morris, Lighting [Lights Technicians]: Christian Hochberg, Lighting [Lights Technicians]: Christian Pesch, Lighting [Lights]: Alexander Eifler, Liner Notes [March 2014]: Vincent Abbate, Management [Assistant To The Producer]: Kathrin Wendt, Management [Contractual Affairs]: Patricia Schmiede-Pinto, Photography By [Still Photographer]: Thomas Von Der Heiden, Producer, Directed By: Peter Sommer (4), Promotion [Local Promoters]: Günther Linnartz, Promotion [Local Promoters]: Richard Bölle, Promotion [Local Promoters]: Robert Krill, Set Designer [Set Decorator]: Jürgen Filter, Stage Manager: Arman Arslanyan, Supervised By [Project Supervisor]: Wille Pinnau, Technician [Sound Technician]: Holger Aust, Technician [Technical Director]: Frank Himmler, Technician [VTO]: Andreas Schlapa, Vocals, Guitar, Drums: Jason Reece, Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards: Conrad Keely, Labelcode 05122292 (MIG 90602 CD, MIG 90602 CD, MIG 90602 CD), Phonographic Copyright (p) MIG-Music GmbH, Copyright (c) Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Licensed Through WDR Media Group, Recorded At Live Music Hall, Cologne, Pressed By Kdg | | Produzent: |
