Azmi H. - 09.08.2022 Like Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer, their unwitting musical bedfellows, Anthrax have not so much crafted but discharged this landmark springboard of raucous, rowdy and energetic thrash as a veritable fist to the listener's ears. Impressive stuff but, without a distinct sound yet, not flawless.

Aleksandr N. - 06.01.2022 The first album from one of the best American thrash metal bands! Excellent speed thrash metal, slightly naive, but also charming, a classic of the genre!

Vladislav M. - 12.05.2020 A fairly crude work, Anthrax is looking for its own style and choose between different musical forms: thrash metal is not yet strong and heavy metal is already left behind.

Oleksiy K. - 22.01.2020 For the years this album has become a No1 Anthrax album to me. First of all, because here they sound like none of the other metal bands at that time. Powerfully, aggressively, loudly, technically! Neil Turbin absolutely nailed it! None of the other vocalists could sing Metal Thrashing Mad, like he did. Absolutely perfect! Charlie Benante's drumming is precise, fast and very tasteful. Guitar solos by Danny Spitz are amazing. The cover version of Alice Cooper's "I'm Eighteen" is excellent. The production is very good too. I am lacking power of rhytm guitars a little bit, but all the other instruments, vocals - excellent! Drums sound amazing! Especially love the power of double bass and the snare drum. Master Charlie always sounded great though. Soldiers of metal - early progressive metal. Love the vocals amd solos here! Would be great if they released more albums with Neil Turbin with their later guitar sound.

Paulos K. - 06.12.2018 Historical debut for many reasons! It doesn't compares the following masterpieces but if you want to hear thrash in its first steps and how it all began its ok!

Jorge D. - 16.12.2019 Este es el primer álbum de Anthrax, uno de los cuatro grandes de San Francisco, algo diferente a lo que harían en sus siguiente producciones, pero de indudable calidad. Recomendado, es thrash del bueno!
