Alexander S. - 04.10.2018 When listening to one song, an interest in the whole album instantly appeared. Starting with "The Incorrigible Flame", a flurry of sound hit the ears, but ... some kind of weak. Although before that I was listening to Bolt Thrower for half a day (and there the power of the sound goes off scale), but it still does not inspire. Immediately pleased that the entire value of this album can be heard from the second on the list of songs - "Warbots A.M.". I liked it very much! This success was consolidated and the next my favorite ("Abraxas of Filth") with Dolan. And his voice immediately added cool sensations (maybe I just listened to Immolation, but still)! And what bass parts - inspires! Next comes just half a minute panic in the form of "Pure Horses" and at the end ... horses? Carnage ... Horses ... Hmm, how can this be connected, I can not even imagine. In subsequent compositions, the average tempo prevails, a considerable number of memorable melodies and many different types of vocals (definitely plus the album) ... Stop! In the player "P.G.A.D.", hardcore ears? No, it did not seem another reason to think. The second half of the album doesn’t stand out in particular, with the exception of the song "Ohrwurm" (which in general reminded me of the magnificent work of psychopaths of such a wonderful style as avant-garde ...).
The sound lacks power. Memorized from the first time songs ... literally two or three. But how many experiments! I also got acquainted with the previous releases of the team and I can safely say: "Misled by Certainty" is a step on the spot. Voiced, with a rebound ... But still not a step forward. Although I did not feel the back bias either, so everything is quite good. Yes, this album is weaker than the previous ones, but just putting it on the shelf will be a very rash act.
| | Ghetto_Fabulous - 20.07.2010 This is the part of being a reviewer that I loathe immensely. It's when a band that you've liked for a long time finally releases something that you j...
