Beschreibung:Double vinyl LP pressing. When the prevailing guitar jingle of 'Mr. Jones' cascaded over radio in the early 90s, it was a sure sign that the Counting Crows were a musical force to be reckoned with. Their 1993 debut album, August and Everything After, burst at the seams with both dominant pop harmonies and rich, hearty ballads, all thanks to lead singer Adam Duritz. The lone guitar work of 'Mr. Jones' coupled with the sweet, in-front pull of Duritz's voice kicked off the album in full force. The album cover depicts handwritten lyrics to a song called "August and Everything After", but the band decided against featuring the song on the album of the same name; it was not until over a decade later that it was played as part of one of their live concerts., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Art Direction, Design: Larry Vigon, Backing Vocals [Additional Musicians: Background Vocals]: Gary Louris, Backing Vocals [Additional Musicians: Background Vocals]: Maria McKee, Backing Vocals [Additional Musicians: Background Vocals]: Mark Olson (2), Bass, Guitar, Vocals: Matt Malley, Creative Director [Creative Direction]: Robin Sloane, Design: Brian Jackson (6), Drums, Vocals: Steve Bowman, Engineer [Additional]: Howard Willing, Engineer [Additional]: Robert Hart (3), Engineer [Additional]: Steve Holroyd, Engineer [Second]: Brant Scott, Engineer [Second]: Mark Guilbeault, Executive-Producer: Gary Gersh, Guitar [Additional Musicians]: T-Bone Burnett, Guitar [Additional Musicians], Electric Guitar [Additional Musicians: Guitorgan]: Bill Dillon, Guitar [Additional Musicians], Mandolin [Additional Musicians], Mandocello [Additional Musicians], Vocals [Additional Musicians]: David Immerglück, Guitar, Vocals: David Bryson, Lacquer Cut By: Chris Bellman, Management: Martin Kirkup, Management: Steven Jensen, Mastered By: Stephen Marcussen, Mixed By: Pat McCarthy, Mixed By: Scott Litt, Percussion [Additional Musicians]: Denny Fongheiser, Photography By: Michael Tighe (2), Piano, Organ [Hammond B-3], Accordion, Chamberlin, Vocals: Charles Gillingham, Producer: T-Bone Burnett, Recorded By: Pat McCarthy, Vocals, Piano, Harmonica: Adam Duritz, Music By: Chris Roldan, Music By: Dan Jewett, Music By: Dave Janusko, Music By: David Bryson, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Drums [Additional Musicians]: Denny Fongheiser, Music By: David Bryson, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By: David Bryson, Music By: Lydia Holly, Music By: Marty Jones, Music By: Toby Hawkins, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By: Charles Gillingham, Music By: David Bryson, Music By: Don Dixon, Music By: Steve Bowman, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By: David Bryson, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By: David Bryson, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Music By: David Bryson, Music By: Matt Malley, Music By, Words By: Adam Duritz, Labelcode 5709765 (B0025531-01), Phonographic Copyright (p) Geffen Records, Copyright (c) Geffen Records, Pressed By Rainbo Records, Pressed By Rainbo Records, Pressed By Rainbo Records, Pressed By Rainbo Records, Distributed By Universal Music Distribution, Record Company Universal Music, Mastered At Precision Mastering, Mixed At Ocean Way Recording

Great gatefold, sounds great. My favourite Counting Crows album by far, has a Springsteen sound only present in their first album. The shipping and handling was perfect.
