The Witmark Demos: 1962-1964 |
 | Beschreibung: | Reissue. Two CD collection of early Dylan demo recordings seeing their first commercial release nearly five decades after they were first recorded. Recorded for his first music publishers between 1962 and 1964, these recordings trace Dylan's dramatic growth as a songwriter from early traditionally-styled songs through social commentaries and ultimately to groundbreaking lyrical genius. While many of these early songs on The Witmark Demos found their way onto Bob Dylan's own albums, 15 have never before been officially released and several more were made famous by other artists, including Peter, Paul and Mary and Stevie Wonder Judy Collins, and The Byrds. The Witmark Demos also features a deluxe booklet with in-depth liner notes by noted music historian Colin Escott, as well as rare photographs of Bob Dylan captured during the same period as these early recordings., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Art Direction, Design: Geoff Gans, Engineer: Mark Wilder, Liner Notes: Colin Escott, Photography By [Booklet Back Cover]: Joe Gilford, Photography By [Booklet Front Cover]: Brian Shuel, Photography By [Booklet]: Barry Feinstein, Photography By [Booklet]: Daniel Kramer (2), Photography By [Booklet]: David Gahr, Photography By [Booklet]: Don Hunstein, Photography By [Booklet]: Douglas Gilbert, Photography By [Booklet]: Henry Parker, Photography By [Booklet]: Joe Alper, Photography By [Booklet]: John Rudoff, Photography By [Booklet]: Sig Goode, Photography By [Insert Back Cover], Photography By [Booklet]: Ted Russell (2), Photography By [Jewel Box Insert Cover]: Gloria Stavers, Photography By [Slipcase Back Cover], Photography By [Booklet]: John Cohen (2), Photography By [Slipcase Front Cover]: Douglas Gilbert, Photography By [Tray-card Back Cover]: John Byrne Cooke, Producer [Additional]: Maria Triana, Production Manager: Greg Linn, Reissue Producer: Jeff Rosen, Reissue Producer: Steve Berkowitz, Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Harmonica: Bob Dylan, Written-By: Bob Dylan, Labelcode SNYL780600.2 (88697806002, 88697806002, 88697806002), Phonographic Copyright (p) Sony Music Entertainment, Copyright (c) Sony Music Entertainment, Pressed By Sony DADC, Pressed By Sony DADC, Distributed By Sony Music Entertainment | | Herstellernummer: |
