 | Beschreibung: | Deluxe Edition Two CD set. Reissue of Steve Earle's 1988 album, Copperhead Road, a Country Music. The title song "Copperhead Road" (an actual location in Mountain City, Tennessee) tells of a Vietnam War veteran, scion of a rural moonshine bootlegging clan, who returns home to grow marijuana on his family's land (the song also inspired a popular line dance timed to the beat of the song). "Johnny Come Lately" (performed with the Pogues) compares the experience of US servicemen fighting in WWII with those in the Vietnam War, and contrasts the differing receptions they received on returning home. Many of the album's songs reflect Earle's politics., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar [12-string]: Bill Lloyd (3), Backing Vocals: John Cowan, Backing Vocals: Maria McKee, Backing Vocals: Radney Foster, Bass: Kelley Looney, Drums: Kurt Custer, Engineer [London]: George Shilling, Engineer [London]: Julius Croaol, Engineer [Memphis]: Mark Coddington, Engineer [Memphis]: Tom Luane, Guitar, 6-String Bass: Donny Roberts, Mastered By: Bob Ludwig, Mixed By: Joe Hardy, Pedal Steel Guitar [Pedal Steel], Lap Steel Guitar [Lap Steel], Dobro: Bucky Baxter, Piano: John Jarvis, Producer: Steve Earle, Producer: Tony Brown (4), Recorded By: Chris Birkett, Recorded By: Joe Hardy, Synthesizer, Organ: Ken Moore, Vocals, Guitar, Harmonica, 6-String Bass, Mandolin: Steve Earle, Written-By: Larry Crane, Written-By: Richard Bennett, Written-By: Steve Earle, Arranged By: Garry Tallent, Accordion: James Fearnley, Banjo: Jem Finer, Banjo, Bodhrán: Shane MacGowan, Bass: Darryl Hunt, Cittern [Citern]: Terry Woods, Drums: Andrew Ranken, Featuring: The Pogues, Guitar, Vocals: Philip Chevron, Mandolin: Neill MacColl, Tin Whistle, Vocals: Spider Stacy, Drum Programming: Chris Birkett, Dobro: Jerry Douglas, Featuring: Telluride (2), Mandolin: Sam Bush, Violin: Mark O'Connor, Violin [Bass]: Edgar Meyer, Labelcode IMT1124598.2 (0602517658981) | | Anzahl der Titel: |
