 | Beschreibung: | Canzoni Villanesche - Neapolitan Love Songs Of The 16th Century, Lassus / Beasley / Kiehr / Daedalus, Composer: Anonymous, Tomaso Cimello, Orlando de Lassus, Vincenzo Fontana, Conductor: Roberto Festa, Orchestra/Ensemble: Daedalus Ensemble, Number of Discs: 2. Beginning in the early decades of the sixteenth century, Naples made a distinct contribution to the Italian musical scene with a genre peculiarly it's own, the Canzoni Villanesche alla Napoletana. These often amusing pieces are not to be thought of as popular music in any sense, but rather as music for a refined public, much of it poking fun at the madrigal and it's mystique. However, the intervention of the villanella repertory of highly accomplished composers such as Willaert and Lassus, both of whom are represented in this well-chosen selection of pieces, had the effect of bringing the genre closer in some of it's details to the language of the late sixteenth-century madrigal., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Baritone Vocals: Josep Cabré, Bass Viol: René Stock, Booklet Editor: Susanne Lowien, Countertenor Vocals: Pascal Bertin, Directed By: Roberto Festa, Edited By [Digital], Mastered By [Digital]: Andreas Glatt, Ensemble: Ensemble Daedalus, Guitar, Lute: Hugh Sandilands, Guitar, Tenor Viol: Pierre Pitzl, Harp [Arpa Doppia], Harp [Arpa Ad Arpione]: Mara Galassi, Illustration [Front Cover]: Johannes Fein, Layout: Joachim Berenbold, Liner Notes [Composers & Works]: Roberto Festa, Liner Notes [English Translation]: Rodney Stock, Liner Notes [French Translation]: Elisabeth Chypre, Liner Notes [German Translation]: Adelheid Glatt, Lute [Colascione]: Leonardo Massa, Lute [Colascione], Lute [Discant Lute], Lute: Federico Marincola, Lute, Chitarrone [Chitarrino Francese], Viol: Hugh Sandilands, Producer [Recording Producer]: Adelheid Glatt, Producer [Recording Producer]: Andreas Glatt, Recorder: Roberto Festa, Recorder, Percussion: Roberto Festa, Soprano Vocals: Maria Cristina Kiehr, Tenor Viol: Brigitte Gasser, Tenor Vocals: Josep Benet, Tenor Vocals: Marco Beasley, Tenor Vocals: Otto Rastbichler, Tenor Vocals, Guitar: Luciano Catapano, Viol: Markus Tapio, Viol: René Stock, Music By: Anonymous, Words By [?]: Velardiniello, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Tomaso Cimello, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Roland de Lassus, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Vincenzo Fontana, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Perissone Cambio, Music By: Anonymous, Words By [?]: Velardiniello, Music By: Giovan Tomaso di Maio, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Baldassare Donato, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Gioseppe Caimo, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Vincenzo Capirola, Music By: Baldassare Donato, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Adrian Willaert, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Roland de Lassus, Music By: Meo Fiorentino, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Giovane Domenico da Nola, Words By: Anonymous, Words By: Filippo Sgruttendio, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Gabriel Fallamero, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Bernardo Pasquini, Music By: Roland de Lassus, Words By: Anonymous, Adapted By [Music]: Ensemble Daedalus, Music By [Tenor]: Perissone Cambio, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Giambattista Basile, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Words By: Giambattista Basile, Music By: Giovan Tomaso di Maio, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Vincenzo Gorzanis, Music By: Vincenzo Gorzanis, Music By: Roland de Lassus, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Anonymous, Words By: Anonymous, Music By: Giuseppe Capolongo, Words By: Alessandro Cassese, Labelcode ACR24268.2 (ACC 24268), Phonographic Copyright (p) Accent, Copyright (c) Accent, Recorded At Kapel, Bisschoppelijk Seminarie, Gent, Recorded At Auditorium Di Pigna, Corsica, Recorded At Festeburgkirche, Frankfurt/Main, Distributed By Note 1 Music GmbH, Glass Mastered At Arvato, Glass Mastered At Arvato | | Anzahl der Titel: |
