Rory Gallagher:
Rory Gallagher war ein irischer Blues-Rock-Gitarrist, Sänger und Songwriter. Er wurde 1948 in Ballyshannon, Irland, geboren und begann im Alter von neun Jahren Gitarre zu spielen. Gallagher gründete 1966 seine erste Band, Taste, und veröffentlichte 1971 sein erstes Soloalbum. Er veröffentlichte im Laufe seiner Karriere insgesamt neunzehn Studioalben und tourte ausgiebig durch die ganze Welt. Gallagher war bekannt für seine energiegeladenen Live-Auftritte und sein virtuoses Gitarrenspiel. Er starb 1995 im Alter von 47 Jahren an einer Lebertransplantation.
