 | Beschreibung: | Vinyl LP pressing. 2015 release from St Germain, the producer behind the 2000 global hit album Tourist. St Germain (AKA Ludovic Navarre), whose albums Boulevard (1995) and Tourist (2000) originated a genre of French electronic music that later included artists like Air, has returned to the studio to create his first album in 15 years. The self-titled record marries percussive grooves, which have always been central to St Germain's sound, with a new element: traditional Malian music. St Germain's move closer to the source of the jazz and blues elements that were essential ingredients in Boulevard and the internationally acclaimed Tourist led to his interest in those genres' roots in West African music. Tourist, which sold nearly three million copies worldwide (more than 300,000 in the US alone), was equally beloved in jazz and electronic music circles, reaching #1 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and being named one of the Best Albums of the Year by Rolling Stone. In France, the album won three Victoires de la Musique awards (the French equivalent of Grammys), including Best Jazz Album, Best Electronic Album and Best Live Performance., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Artwork: Tangui Morin, Composed By: Ludovic Navarre, Cover [Urban Art Mask]: Gregos (2), Directed By [Music Director], Programmed By [Programming]: Ludovic Navarre, Mastered By: Alex Wharton, Producer, Recorded By, Mixed By: Ludovic Navarre, Written-By: Ludovic Navarre, Written-By: Zoumana Tereta, Guitar, Strings [N'goni]: Guimba Kouyaté, Keyboards: Didier Davidas, Kora: Mamadou Cherif Soumano, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Guitar: Guimba Kouyaté, Vocals: Nahawa Doumbia, Guitar, Strings [N'goni]: Guimba Kouyaté, Keyboards [Percussions]: Didier Davidas, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Strings [N'Goni]: Sadio Kone, Guitar, Strings [N'goni]: Guimba Kouyaté, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Vocals: Fanta Bagayogo, Bass: Alioune Wade, Keyboards: Didier Davidas, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Saxophone: Edouard Labor, Vocals, Strings [Kamele N'Goni]: Adama Coulibaly, Guitar: Sekou Bah, Guitar, Strings [N'Goni]: Guimba Kouyaté, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Strings [N'Goni]: Sadio Kone, Vocals, Violin [Soku (Violin)]: Zoumana Tereta, Guitar, Strings [N'Goni]: Guimba Kouyaté, Keyboards: Didier Davidas, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Strings [Kamele N'Goni]: Adama Coulibaly, Strings [N'Goni]: Sadio Kone, Keyboards: Didier Davidas, Kora: Cheikh Lo Diallo, Percussion: Jorge Bezerra, Strings [N'Goni]: Sadio Kone, Labelcode NNS550182.1 (0825646121984, 0825646121984), Published By Molique Music, Record Company Mainstream Records Group, Inc., Published By Fire Horse Music, Published By Tradition Music Co., Record Company Fat Possum Records, LLC, Produced At The Magic House Studio, Recorded At The Magic House Studio, Mixed At The Magic House Studio, Recorded At Hampethe Bah Studio, Mastered At Abbey Road Studios, Published By Primary Society Publishing, Phonographic Copyright (p) Primary Society, Copyright (c) Primary Society, Licensed To Parlophone, Licensed To Warner Mus"St Germain" ist das gefeierte selbstbetitelte LP-Album des französischen Elektronik-Pioniers Ludovic Navarre alias St Germain.
