 | Beschreibung: | The 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci falls on May 2, 2019. Probably the greatest polymath of all time, Leonardo was also a musician and revered music as the only serious rival for his divine 'science' of painting. Marking this significant anniversary and the legacy of this forward-thinking 'Renaissance Man, ' I Fagiolini combines art, music and science in Leonardo: Shaping the Invisible, a major new touring and recording project conceived with Leonardo expert Professor Martin Kemp. Inspired by Leonardo's relentless curiosity, 'Shaping the Invisible' explores his best-loved images through the prism of music by Tallis, Howells, Victoria, Bach, Monteverdi, Janequin, and more. The project also includes a new commission from composer Adrian Williams and Gillian Clarke, the former National Poet of Wales, provoked by Leonardo's scientific discoveries. In true I Fagiolini style, there are a few post-production surprises in store, whilst the concert tour includes projections of Leonardo's beautiful art., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Alto Vocals: Clare Wilkinson, Alto Vocals: Eleanor Minney, Alto Vocals: Guy James (2), Alto Vocals: Laura Baldwin, Alto Vocals: Peter Gritton, Alto Vocals: Rosie Parker, Alto Vocals: Sarah Lucy Penny, Bass Vocals: Benjamin Rowarth, Bass Vocals: Charles Gibbs, Bass Vocals: Greg Skidmore, Bass Vocals: Jack Comerford, Bass Vocals: Stuart O'Hara (2), Bass Vocals: William Gaunt, Chitarrone: David Miller (7), Chitarrone: Eligio Quinteiro, Cover, Design: Greg Browning, Design [Booklet]: Andrew Giles (3), Directed By: Robert Hollingworth, Engineer: Mat Bartram, Ensemble: I Fagiolini, Harp: Kirsty Whatley, Harpsichord: Catherine Pierron, Producer: Adrian Hunter, Project Manager: Jessica Kinney (2), Project Manager: Libby Percival, Soprano Vocals: Ana Beard-Fernandez, Soprano Vocals: Anna Crookes, Soprano Vocals: Elspeth Piggott, Soprano Vocals: Helen Neeves, Soprano Vocals: Kirsty Hopkins, Soprano Vocals: Rebecca Lea (2), Tenor Vocals: Christopher Bowen (2), Tenor Vocals: Mark Dobell, Tenor Vocals: Matthew Long, Tenor Vocals: Nicholas Hurndall Smith, Tenor Vocals: Nicholas Mulroy, Tenor Vocals: Simon Wall (2), Viola: Rachel Stott, Viola: Stefanie Heichelheim, Violin: Catherine Martin (2), Violin: Naomi Burrell, Violin [Bass]: Peter McCarthy, Vocals: Charlotte Mobbs, Vocals: Jimmy Holliday (2), Vocals: Richard Wyn-Roberts, Composed By: Thomas Tallis, Composed By: Herbert Howells, Composed By: Claudio Monteverdi, Composed By: Jean-Yves Daniel-Lesur, Composed By: Tomás Luis De Victoria, Composed By: Edmund Rubbra, Composed By: Claudio Monteverdi, Composed By: Orazio Vecchi, Composed By: Johann Sebastian Bach, Composed By: Clément Janequin, Composed By: Josquin Des Prés, Composed By: Tomás Luis De Victoria, Composed By: Cipriano De Rore, Composed By: Adrian Williams (5), Composed By: Clément Janequin, Labelcode CORO16171.2 (COR16171), Phonographic Copyright (p) The Sixteen Productions, Copyright (c) The Sixteen Productions, Phonographic Copyright (p) The Sixteen Productions Ltd, Copyright (c) The Sixteen Productions Ltd, Recorded At Angel Studios, Made By Sony DADC | | Herstellernummer: |
