Limited 180 gram audiophile vinyl LP pressing of this album from the veteran jazz pianist. Released in 1978 this is the second album by Jarrett's European Quartet (Belonging, released four years earlier in 1974, was the first), but arguably the most popular due to the haunting track "My Song", Jarrett composed all six compositions. On the album, Jarrett is joined by Jan Garbarek (saxophone), Palle Danielsson (bass) and Jon Christensen (drums). Jarrett started his career with Art Blakey, moving on to play with Charles Lloyd and Miles Davis. Since the early 1970s he has enjoyed a great deal of success as a group leader and a solo performer in jazz, jazz fusion, and classical music.
