This set is a real mix of interesting experimental abstraction, (Moondog and Suncat Suite on Disk One), bad recording (the last four tracks on Disk One) good jazz,and schmaltz (some of the pseudo-Latin tunes). There's enough good stuff here if you pay a really low price for this to make it worth it, but most of the Real Gone sets are better overall.
