The third studio album by German thrash metal band Kreator, released in 1987. After the release of the album "Terrible Certainty", the then editor of the influential German magazine RockHard, Frank Trojan, called Kreator "the number 1 European thrash band"...

Remastered version of the album is slightly better than original. Digipack is excellent, booklet rich and nice. I bought this mostly because the bonus material (Out from the dark... EP).

Digipak remastered edition of legendary 1987 Kreator album Terrible Certainty + EP Out Of The Dark (Into The Light) as bonus CD2. All fans of Kreator must had!

Both terrible certainty and extreme aggression are the heaviest Kreator albums and therefore they are often cited as their best. All tunes in terrible certainly have solos, they are not necessarily good, but at least always present.

Old Kreator is power, pressure, attack and headbang. No compromise, no mercy, only Thrash Till Death! A rich edition of two CDs and a huge detailed booklet.

English Alexander S. - 31.10.2019 5 von 5 Sternen!
The third album of the Teutonic Thrash Metal legend once again confirms the correctness of the fundamental philosophical law on the transition of quantity into quality. And in everything, because it was with “Frightening Confidence” that Kreator became a quartet (forgive me apologists Sodom and Destruction, but I believe that this trash can only play 2 guitars). And the hours spent at the rehearsals spent by Millet were paying off, as the level of playing the Kreator instruments has grown significantly compared to the previous album. Starting with “Terrible Certainty,” the Germans in their music found what I always liked about them, namely, a clear militaristic rhythm, tough, rather complicated guitar riffs, sane solos, and also cold and merciless, like a surgeon’s scalpel, mood. The quality of the recording improved by an order of magnitude, this mushy sound disappeared, which spoiled the whole impression of “Pleasure to Kill”. Regarding the affairs of the lyric, too, everything was in perfect order, Millet strained his brains and, instead of stupid texts based on cheap horror films, he composed clever, sharp-social lyrics. In his texts, Herr Petrozza deals with the problems of environmental pollution (“Toxic Trace”), madness and “internal demons” (“Behind the Mirror”), the persecution of the first Christians in the Roman Empire (“Blind Fate”) and so on. In general, there is no point in crucifying further, and so everyone is well aware. In a word - a classic!

One of the better albums from Kreator. Songs are packed with speed and aggression. The remastered version comes with extra songs. Nice!
