 | Beschreibung: | Motorhead / SNAKE BITE LOVE - Originally released on 10th March 1998, Snake Bite Love is Motörhead's 14th studio album. The album shows the less heavier side of the band, with several tracks that are slower than one might expect from Motörhead. However, Snake Bite Love still retains the classic mix of true heavy metal and rock n'roll that Motörhead do so well., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Band: Lemmy, Band: Mikkey Dee, Band: Phil Campbell, Co-producer [Co-Produced by]: Motörhead, Engineer [Assistant]: Chris Morrison, Engineer [Assistant]: Greg D'Angelo, Management: Alex Guerrero (2), Management: Singerman Entertainment, Management: Todd Singerman, Mastered By: Kris Solem, Mixed By: Mark Dearnley, Producer [Produced by]: Howard Benson, Recorded By: Mark Dearnley, Written-By: Ian Fraser Kilmister, Written-By: Motörhead, Labelcode BGRT826050.2 (BMGCAT762CD, BMGCAT762CD), Record Company BMG, Phonographic Copyright (p) Belle Vue Sunshine Touring Inc., Copyright (c) Belle Vue Sunshine Touring Inc., Licensed To BMG Rights Management (UK) Limited, Recorded At The Valley, Mixed At Jake's Place, Mastered At Future Disc, Glass Mastered At Sonopress | | Anzahl der Titel: |

Yuriy P. - 13.05.2024 So, the sound hasn't changed one iota. We are still waiting for a supersonic and deafening assault, supported by the aggressive mood of the material and Lemmy's angry voice. About half of the tracks (one must admit the most impressive) are again devoted to all sorts of darkness and vices of our imperfect world. Like the mercenaries at war in the mercilessly energetic action movie "Dogs Of War", the bastard politicians in the insanely fast "Take The Blame" (by the way, a unique moment - for the first time in the history of Motörhead in this song instead of a guitar there is a keyboard (!!!) solo) , a battlefield strewn with corpses in the sad and depressive ballad "Dead And Gone", vampires, werewolves and other cute creatures in the horror action movie "Nightside", and, finally, just a very interesting philosophical text in the melodic composition "Joy Of Labor" . The remaining half, quite unexpectedly, is kept in the old rock and roll traditions, with riffs from Chuck Berry and tests from the Rolling Stones era. The exception is the cheerful title track "Snake Bite Love", with simply hilarious lyrics that make you laugh heartily. Thus, it turns out that almost all the material is made very well and of high quality. Of course, you won’t find any revelations from the times of “Overkill” or “Orgasmatron” here, but actually that’s not the main thing. The main thing is drive, and there is plenty of it.
