English Alexander S. - 11.07.2019 4 von 5 Sternen!
If you believe the apologists of the so-called True Metal, then it was glam metal, as a genre, that was the main reason that real metal was allegedly not appreciated in the 80s. They say that you don’t feed the Gloemers with bread, but just let them encroach on Mr. Mustaine’s red le cul (remember his transcript of the word “glam”) or spray a bottle of hairspray under the Slayer fan’s window. Muck, and only! Only here I am not one of the first to attribute myself, and for the second album of the Poison group I really want to prescribe its creators with a spade for powdered cheeks. The reason for this dislike is banal is simple - the guys, behind endless parties and never ending money, completely forgot about the music itself. Simply put, at the “Open Up and Say ... Ahhh!” Group decided to “cast a rooster”. Moreover, quite deliberately - a good half of the album with a whistle flies past the box office. More precisely slides. On a smooth, like a breast, Susie Hatton from the clip “Fallen Angel”, “worn out” to disgust, the sound of guitars. And this would end the conversation, but all is not lost. Poison's hits to write have not forgotten how - it seems that precisely because of “Nothin 'But a Good Time”, “Fallen Angel” and, of course, “Every Rose Has It's Thorn” (No. 1 Billboard 100) managed to disperse the five millionth edition of USA. And “Back to the Rockin 'Horse” and “Bad to be Good” acted as a “reserve parachute” from the inevitable fall of the album to the status of “failure” in musical terms. Moreover, the abyss is constantly expanding from the huge success of Def Leppard, Guns N 'Roses and Bon Jovi. But, as we will see later, the group will still make certain conclusions.
