Description: | I Like Your Kind Of Love by Melvin Endsley, released 10 August 1992, includes the following tracks: "Is It True", "I Got A Feelin'", "Lovin' On My Mind", "Let's Fall Out Of Love" and more.
This version of I Like Your Kind Of Love comes as a 1xCD. - One of the great undiscovered jewels in our catalogue! Melvin was the writer of Singing The Blues, but he was also a passionate and incredibly underrated singer. Crippled, he rarely left his home in Arkansas, except to make these recordings for RCA and MGM. This set includes his originals of I Like Your Kind Of Love (covered by Andy Williams), I'd Be Just Fool Enough (covered by Johnny Cash, The Browns etc.), but it also includes some of the finest little-known gems songs in Fifties country-rock, like Bringing The Blues To My Door, I Ain't Getting Nowhere With You, Is It True, and Getting Used To The Blues. Don't pass this by! |
