| Description: | Let It Burn by Ataris, released 1 August 2013, includes the following tracks: "Song For A Mix Tape", "Blue Skies, Broken Hearts...Next 12 Exits", "How I Spent My Summer Vacation", "San Dimas Hugh School Football Rules [Acoustic]" and more.
This version of Let It Burn comes as a 1xCD. - SPLIT CD#1-Orange Whip Studios, Santa Barbara, CA By Angus Cooke. From "Short Music For Short People" comp on Fat
#2-3-Unreleased songs from the "Radio Still Sucks" sessions. #2 will be on our next record in it's full-length form
#4-Blasting Room, FT. Collins, CO. By: Bill Stevenson, Stephen Egerton + Jason Livermore. Was supposed to be our 30 sec. song on "Short Music..." but Fat Mike said it kinda sucked... wait actually, hit exact words were "It's Too Emo" and sent us in to record a new one... hence Tracks #1-3. Originally appeared on "No Stars, Just Talent" comp on Kung Fu.
#5-Orange Whip By Joey Cape + Angus Cooke during "Blue Skies" in fact it was the only song left off the record, there was probably a good reason for that.
#6-Orange Whip By Joey Cape, originally appeared on happy meals vol. 2 on Joey's label My Records. This was the first song I wrote when i moved to Santa Barbara and the first song with Joey producing... It was also the start of a great friendship... how gay... whatever.
#7-The Sandbox, Hollywood, CA July '97.... I Think. By Rik Parker. Originally release on Metal Rules Comp on Cooler Records. This is a motley Crue Cover, or maybe it's a Get Up Kids Cover. Anyways, Kristy "Crash" Majors of Pretty Boy Floyd played the guitar Solo... It was also the night I hung out at the bar "The Rainbow" on sunset strip with wasp and wrote part of "San Dimas"
#8-Recorded in my apartment, Garden St. Santa Barbara, CA During the last week of 1999.
#9- Recorded on a small cassette player outside of a salvation army in Concord, NH
The Back Cover lists Track 16 as "Something."
Track 96 begins after about 1:15 of silence. |
