When I first heard this recording, I was thrilled by DOWN. One of my favorite records in any field of music - Hard or Heavy music. Highly recommend

Ich als Down Fan kaufte mir kürzlich die Down CD "over the under" und war total begeistert. Also dachte ich, da muß auch noch die CD "Nola" her. Und die gabs relativ günstig eben hier bei grooves-inc. Bestellt und ein Paar tage später geliefert bekommen, so kann ich guten Gewissens grooves-inc. weiterempfehlen. Das "Nola" bereits 1995 aufgenommen wurde, wußte ich nicht. Einen musikalischen Unterschied zu "over the under" (2007) gibts jetzt nicht unbedingt, beide gut. Allerdings was den Gesang bei "Nola" angeht, schon. Der Gesang ist mir etwas zu black-metal-lastig. Da gefällt mir der stimmlich melodischere und rockigere Gesang bei "over the under" wesentlich besser. Fazit: Wer auf Stoner Mucke steht, dem sei DOWN insgesamt empfohlen. Wer sich allerdings nur eine CD von Down zulegen möchte, dem empfehle ich dann eher die "Over the under". Ist aber reine Geschmacksache, da nur der Gesang etwas unterschiedlich ist.
