After Roy Orbison left Sun he joined RCA for one fruitless year. Looking back, we can see how important it was in helping to shape Roy's classic style. One of these seven sides was his last rockabilly single, the terrific Almost Eighteen, and we can see his pop leanings taking shape in songs like Paper Boy, Sweet And Innocent and Seems To Me. The set is rounded out with Sonny James' twelve rare early Sixties RCA sides, including a great re-make of Young Love and his hit version of Apache from 1961.
