Jar of Flies is the second studio EP by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on January 25, 1994, through Columbia Records. It is the first EP in music history to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 Chart with the first week sales exceeding 141, 000 copies in the United States. The EP was well received by critics and has since been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA and has gone on to sell 4 million copies worldwide, making Jar of Flies one of the band's most successful releases.

This pressing is an original pressing without any SID codes. [r=15394076] is an original pressing pressed at Sony Music, Pitman, with SID codes. [r=12258372] is a repress pressed at Sony Music, Pitman. [r=5004342] is a DADC repress with "DIDP-080813" in the matrix. Released in a standard jewel case with a clear tray and 10-panel foldout booklet with lyrics. Some copies include a promotional sticker on the jewel case listing the band name, EP name, select song titles, and a third catalog number: CK 57628 S1. Some copies of the initial pressing were packaged with four plastic flies in the clear spine of jewel case. Copies with the flies were randomly inserted among the standard commercial release that was found in record stores on the day of release, and there is absolutely no physical difference in the packaging or the disc, other than the presence of the flies.
