Description:
Bloodrock by Bloodrock, released 20 May 1995, includes the following tracks: "Fatback", "Timepiece", "Gimme Your Head", "Melvin Laid An Egg" and more.
This version of Bloodrock comes as a 1xCD. -
The Texas drawl of Jim Rutledge and the band's crushing guitar and organ riffs combined to make Bloodrock a standout among the proto-metal groups to emerge as the '70s approached. Their 1969 debut is a certified hard-rock cult classic: Double Cross; Timepiece; Wicked Truth; Fatback, and more!
The band's first album is stylistically reminiscent of the Grand Funk Railroad. The same hammer-like hard rock, slightly diluted by the sound of the organ. The producer on the album was the famous Terry Knight, maybe that's why the sound is very similar to the "Closer To Home". In general, the music presented on the album is very interesting. For all fans of early hard rock.
