Tahiti 80's frontman and principle songwriter, Xavier Boyer, one of the most distinctive and loved voices in Indie Rock, further propels French rock on it's upward spiral with this long awaited solo record, recorded under the name Axe Riverboy (an anagram of Xavier's name). a blend of superb songwriting, sing-a-long choruses, ringing guitars and compressed pianos. A warm rediscovery of rock and pop with folk overtones, brilliantly drawn from the sounds upon which early Tahiti 80 thrived.
