Description: | Simply wonderful. Waves & waves of pacifying sounds for late at night come from Australia where now it's daytime... Erm... Then this is music for every minute of your life. For an introduction to Miss Vespa & her colossal voice & wonder world you should listen to L'Anarchie (siesta 162). in Takin' the Back Roads she proves that she is in optima forma. Not all of the tracks sound as exhilarating & extravagantly euphoric as L'Anarchie though. This real femme de monde sounds now more like. Thanks to Wayne Davidson, amazing as always; Pete Farnan for his wonderful creative input; Simon Polinski for his suggestions; Greg Ham for taste, groove and time; Rob Anderson for lying on train tracks in 35C heat; Sam Schwarz, Louise Godwin and Guy Le Couteur, Andrew Sullivan, Hugh Thorn, David and Michael, and finally Sara, Mateo and Manuel and all at Siesta for their continued support and patience.
