Eugene S. - 12/Mar/2025 5 of 5 Stars!
The second studio album by American mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan released in July 2004. Andrew Racher of Brooklyn Vegan said calling the album mathcore was "too niche" and "undersells it." He described the album's sound as "progressive circus acid freakout avant-goth metallic rock."

This is probably the album that opened my eyes into the technical side of metal. The melodic and catchy riffs/vocals draw you in and lower your guard while the heavy and chaotic parts leave you stunned. Totally worth a listen!
