"Mission no.X" es un potente álbum de estudio del legendario grupo alemán de heavy metal U.D.O., lanzado en formato CD en el año 2005 por Afm Records. Este trabajo destaca por su característico sonido: potentes riffs guitarreros y melodías pegadizas acompañadas por la voz inconfundible y poderosa del líder histórico del grupo, Udo Dirkschneider (ex-vocalista de Accept). Canciones como ?24/7?, ?Mean Streets? o ?Cry Soldier Cry? muestran tanto el virtuosismo técnico como el talento compositivo que han consolidado al grupo entre los grandes referentes internacionales del género metálico clásico.
Formada tras la salida de Dirkshneider de Accept en los años ochenta (1987), la banda ha editado discos emblemáticos como ?Animal House? o ?Holy?, realizando giras mundiales multitudinarias y cosechando una fiel legión internacional gracias a sus directos demoledores y su constancia creativa durante décadas enteras dentro del panorama europeo e internacional del heavy-metal tradicional.

The tenth studio album by German heavy metal band U.D.O., released on 30 September 2005. A strong album with Udo's inimitable vocals. I recommend.

On his anniversary tenth album, you will not only find absolutely nothing new, only the very well-known most straightforward heavy metal in the territory of both Germanies, but you will also find something old, I mean the new version of “Way Of Life” with album “No Limits” (1998), which differs from the original only weighted sound. Having long settled on the throne of European heavy, grandfather Udo feels very good there, and therefore he is not in a hurry to change anything in his music, and resting on his laurels usually does not lead to good. And the confirmation of this is too much - this album, sustained completely in the traditions of the genre, but made as if mechanically, without a spark, according to a long-established pattern. Only three or four songs on it (the title track, the single number “24/7”, the ballad “Eye Of The Eagle” and the final “Mad For Crazy”) can “catch” the listener's attention, which, although not a failure, grandfather Udo is clearly weak. So I have to admit that this album is intended exclusively for style fans in general and Udo in particular.
