Over the course of six albums and 3 EPs, Trans Am have pleased and confounded critics with their ever-changing style. From their 1980s inspired synth-pop tunes of their self-titled debut, to straight-ahead rock album, Futureworld. LIBERATION marks the first time politics have crept into their music, reflecting post-9/11 tension. 70s crunching guitars, late-80s synth-tones and collages of sound bites culled from radio and TV give the tracks a dark tension that captures our current state of affairs.
