| | Description: | Bruno Bonomo ist ein Filmproduzent, und leider kein sehr guter. Da sich damit kein Geld verdienen lässt, steht er vor dem finanziellen Ruin. Ausgerechnet ein Projekt über Christopher Columbus soll die Rettung sein, doch es scheint aussichtslos, Geldgeber dafür aufzu treiben. Aber nicht nur beruflich geht es steil bergab, sondern auch seine Ehe steht vor dem endgültigen Aus. Da spielt ihm das Schicksal das Drehbuch einer jungen Regisseurin in die Hände, Der Kaiman. Auf den ersten Blick scheint es ein Script zu einem mittelmäßigen Thriller zu sein, beim genaueren Hinsehen entpuppt es sich als eine Abrechnung mit den politischen Machenschaften Silvio Berlusconis, ein Stoff, der den Verzweifelten wachrüttelt: Wild entschlossen macht er dieses riskante Projekt zu seiner neuen Lebens aufgabe, in der Hoffnung, dadurch nicht nur den finanziellen Ruin abzuwenden, sondern auch seine Ehe zu retten.
