"Killer" es un álbum clásico de rock de Alice Cooper lanzado en formato CD por Warner Bros. Records en 1971 y considerado una obra fundamental del hard rock mundial gracias a canciones como ?Under My Wheels?, ?Be My Lover? y la épica ?Halo of Flies?.

The fourth studio album by Alice Cooper and his band, recorded by them and produced by Bob Ezrin. One of the greatest hard rock albums. I recommend.

I present to you an overview of the fourth studio album of the shock rock king Alice Cooper. By the way, the phrase "shock rock" is not taken from the ceiling, because already in those distant times, Alice literally shocked the audience with his extraordinary show. Even the cover of this album (which depicts Kashina, drummer Neil Smith's home python, who constantly took part in the band's performances) literally attracts, beckons to itself and whispers: "Buy me!" I advise you to succumb to persuasion - before us is the standard of American hard rock, which is in no way inferior to the excellent previous work of Alice "Love It To Death". Think of the album as a daily meal. Breakfast is a messy, cheery happy hard to please the ears. Representatives of this direction are "Be My Lover", "Yeah Yeah Yeah", "You Drive Me Nervous" (in which Cooper again honors the parents who do not let their son listen to rock and roll) and, undoubtedly, the main hit album - the hurricane action movie "Under My Wheels", which has long been an immortal classic. Two courses are served for lunch. First, a hilarious James Bond parody "Halo Of Flies", which is a very complex, eight-minute song, with exceptionally beautiful guitar work by Neil Smith and Glenn Buxton. A little later "Desperado" sounds - an amazingly melodic composition, decorated with interesting lyrics in the style of the Wild West. Well, the most important thing is prepared for dinner - horrors. The last two tracks on the album showcase Alice's ability to truly SCARY with the lyrics and atmosphere of her songs. An alcoholic mother drives her daughter to suicide, children in our world are sometimes simply not needed by anyone - goosebumps run through the body when you listen to "Dead Babies". Murder is so simple, it costs nothing to deprive someone of life in our world, you become imbued with true sympathy for the guy who accidentally (?) Killed a person and now realizes his terrible deed - this story is told by the title song of the album. Well, and the apogee - the cacophony of a mini-muga and a deafening shot ... The impressions from this album are simply amazing, the last two tracks put you in a state close to a trance. Only true masters can make such an impression on the listener. Like Alice Cooper.

Alice Cooper at his best. The original AC line up of Dunaway, Bruce, Smith & Buxton. Can't make up my mind which was best this album or Billion Dollar Babies but still playing both to this day

The second disc from the classic discography of Alice Cooper. A sharp synthesis of hard rock, theatrical performance and progressive sound gave a stunning effect.
