Alexander S. - 23/Feb/2020 4 of 5 Stars!
The very productive German band Paragon released their eighth album last year. Paragon are the apologists for the so-called Teutonic power metal, the toughest heavy metal variety (along with Brainstorm, Metalium, Wizard and others). No keys, no falsetto voices! Real "peasant" metal! I must say that Paragon do their job with the highest quality - excellent powerful sound, hit battle songs and excellent vocals of our compatriot Andrei Babushkin. Especially from previous ones, the album “Forgotten Prophecies” does not differ, only the sound becomes better and more powerful, and so, the group just continues to bend its line and compose good “iron” songs. Everything is very high quality and groovy, but still, by the end of the album, some uniformity makes you bored ... But! The album, in any way, is very, very good!
