Description:So Red The Rose is an album by Arcadia, released in 2002. So Red The Rose includes a.o. the following tracks: ??Election Day?, ??Keep Me In The Dark?, ??Goodbye Is Forever?, ??The Flame? and more. The album is a pop CD. -
In 1985 members of Duran Duran took a hiatus from their hectic career to produce two very different bands and albums, the first being Arcadia comprised of Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and Roger Taylor, the second being the guitar driven rock of the Power Station with John and Andy Taylor (along with Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson). Arcadia, created between the Arena and Notorious albums, it was originally going to be a project of "remakes" much like Duran Duran's 1996 release Thank You. What it became was a much more eloquent version of Duranie synth pop. This album gained recognition from the sheer Duran connection, however, it featured some of the most stylishly written pop tunes and produced four singles. EMI. 1998.

Robert S. - 07/Mar/2022 4 of 5 Stars!
Who likes Duran Duran mainly from the albums until 1986, will enjoy this album from Arcadia. All the tracks are good, in a dancing pop style.

Valeriy R. - 04/Feb/2022 5 of 5 Stars!
A budget but well-sounded edition of the only album released in 1985 by the new wave/synth pop project made by Duran Duran musicians just for one day. Grace Jones, Andy Mackay, David Gilmour, Carlos Alomar and Sting are among performers. What is a result? A real masterpiece!

Simon Le Bon described this as the most pretentious album ever made, which only served to further expose his narrow horizons and hidden shallows. Wi...
