This dark, suffocating stuff is full of nightmares and claustrophobic details that send shivers up one's spine. References include Coil, Marc Acardipane, Scott Brown, and Neophyte. Not afraid to show her classical upbringing (she trained as an Opera singer) and Jazz heritage (granddaughter of J.B. Floyd), Libby Floyd infuses the Rave sound with doom and dread. Inducing panic on the dancefloor, cuts like the eleven-minute 'Slaves' builds into writhing acid anthems that ebb and flow like some viscous substance in your mind.
