Fran Warren seems to be one of America's more neglected singers, which is odd when considering that she has proved without doubt to be one of the most talented. She is at her best when singing the ballads, giving to the more sad and misty songs, her total commitment and understanding of the lyrics. In this compilation the focus is on the early tracks with the Claude Thornhill Orchestra and carries through to her later beautiful recordings with Marty Paich. 21 Tracks, all original studio recordings from 1946-1956. Sensitively remastered with many of the tracks presented for the first time on CD.
