Descripción:	Seitdem die NASA vor sechs Jahren Spuren außerirdischen Lebens bergen konnte und diese Proben durch einen Raumschiffabsturz über Zentralamerika verteilt wurden, ist die Welt verändert. Krakenähnliche, riesenhafte Kreaturen haben begonnen sich auszubreiten. Die US-Regierung versucht den Schaden zu begrenzen, indem die Infizierte Zone mit einer gigantischen Mauer vom restlichen Kontinent abgespalten wird. Mitten in diesem Chaos lernen sich der Fotograf Andrew und die junge Samantha kennen. Andrew arbeitet für Samanthas reichen Vater und bekommt unfreiwillig den Auftrag, das Töchterchen aus gutem Haus sicher gen Heimat zu eskortieren. Es bleibt wenig Zeit: In drei Tagen soll die Grenze zwischen Mexiko und USA endgültig versiegelt werden...
