Digitally remastered edition of this 1971 album from the British guitarist, vocalist and former Be Bop Deluxe leader. Northern Dream was recorded on rudimentary equipment at Holyground studios in Wakefield in 1971. One of the first truly independently produced albums to be released in Britain, the album featured wonderful compositions such as 'Everyone's Hero', 'End of the Seasons', 'Love's a Way' and 'Smiles'.
"Northern Dream" is the debut solo album by Bill Nelson, originally released in 1971 and now available on CD from Cherry Red Records. This seminal work showcases Nelson's early songwriting talent and experimental approach to music, blending elements of folk, rock, and psychedelia into a unique soundscape that would later influence his celebrated career with Be-Bop Deluxe. The reissue features remastered audio for enhanced clarity and includes insightful liner notes detailing the album?s creation.
