I was a young child at the time of this album's release. I wonder in retrospect how many of these songs I may have heard on the radio at the time of their debut. But I'm happy to explore the band's early years in the limelight by way of this CD now. QUEEN forever

Neben "Flash Gordon", das umstrittenste Queen Album, hat es doch einen gewissen Disco Flair. Die Bonus Tracks der 2. CD (hätten zeitlich noch auf die 1. CD gepasst...) sind für richtige Queen Fans enttäuschend, insgesamt hätte man da mehr daraus machen können.

Un álbum con el cual la banda decidió experimentar con nuevos ritmos como el funk, con canciones como Staying Power y Back Chat, lo cual, les valió muchas críticas. Así mismo el álbum contiene canciones de la línea rockera como Put Out The Fire y Life Is Real, además del súper éxito Under Pressure, escrito en colaboración con David Bowie. Versión en CD doble por 40 aniversario de la banda.
