It's really no wonder then, that their hit song "Paint the Town Red" was selected to be featured in the climactic final fight scene of the Golden Globe nominated film THE FIGHTER, starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. The classic track by The Mahones will be remixed and included on their hotly anticipated album THE BLACK IRISH. The bands Celtic brand of infectious, raucous punk music combines the raw energy of iconic bands like the Clash, the Pogues, the Dubliners, the Replacements and the Waterboys and throws in a dash of Social Distortion for good measure. Their music packs a mean punch which has propelled them to emerge as the seminal Irish punk band of the past two decades.
