Amon Tobin is one of the most important producers in electronic music. Along with Aphex Twin his appeal and influence go beyond an electronic music fan base. His epic work is at perfectly at home in soundtracks, computer games and stereos. Re-drawing and blurring the lines between psychedelic and sci-fi, Tobin has created the finest, most intense work of his considerable career. With ISAM Tobin started with field recordings but then synthesized the sounds and built them into actual playable instruments.
