British modern jazz trumpeter Jimmy Deuchar appears in both sextet & quintet settings on this 9 track album. The first track is from a session in 1957, and the remaining cuts are from 1958, which appeared on the much sought after Tempo LP "Pal Jimmy!". Apart from Deuchar's superb jazz stylings, Phil Seamen is the stylish drummer on all titles, and Tubby Hayes, Derek Humble & Ken Wray appear on a few songs.
