15 track, 72 minute compilation follows the development of West Indian born trumpeter Dizzy Reece. These Tempo sessions are from late 1956 to the autumn of 1958 & show how the modern jazz stylings of Reece had progressed. The last four titles were specially composed by Reece for the 1958 film "Nowhere To Go" & feature Tubby Hayes on sax.

Tracks 1 to 7 - Recorded London, 28 December 1956. Tracks 8 to 11 - Recorded London, 29 December 1957. Tracks 12 to 15 - Recorded London, 2 October 1958.
