Stylistically, this album is probably closest to "1987/self-titled". But there are nods to the earlier, more bluesy sounding Whitesnake too. And also nods to David Coverdale's heritage with Deep Purple.

This is a best edition of the great album! The album is packaged in a jewel case, bonus CD is packaged in a CD-sized cardboard sleeve. The CDs and group poster are housed in a precious clamshell box. This is a must have for any Snakes' fan!

When I listened to the album, I got the impression: probably after "Slip of the Tongue" they just took a break for a smoke break and did not even turn off the tools. Yes, this studio comeback was so easy and harmonious. I thought that Coverdale limited himself to an eternal tour and the release of numerous "Live" and "Best of", but no. The album combines the thundering hit power of 1987 and the hard-blues roots from Come An 'Get It and Love Hunter. Gathering around him very talented and necessary people such as Tommy Aldridge or Reb Beach, “The Leader of the White Snake” recorded one of the most harmonious and vibrant albums in his discography. Some songs are so chic that they are dear to them in 1987, and to release an album 15-17 years earlier is to be on the first lines of the charts of all countries. Very juicy and solid sound that just fits perfectly into the concept of such groups. A killer start in the form of "Best Years" is just the perfect start to any cool rock album. And then it’s better. I think that talking about the album for a long time is nothing. Those who at least somehow imagine who David Coverdale is and what Whitesnake is, have not listened to this album 10 or 30 times.

I have this album in the collection and I recommend it - great price for two cds - for me this is a good hard rock album WSNAKE - Chris Frazier is good but better that the drums played Tommy Aldrige - I recommend

Coverdale can be compared with a good cognac - the older, the better. Stunning driving album. A nice addition is a bonus disk. A whole mouth-watering kit! I'm satisfied.

This album marks the return of Whitesnake in the new millennium. This is a really good album, with ballads and more rocking songs with a bluesy touch. This version is nicely presented in a box and includes a card, a sticker, a poster and a bonus CD.

An "Good to Be Bad" kommt es nicht ran. "Good to Be Bad" verdient 5 Sterne, ohne Abstriche.
