Description:Once again re-emerging with new material after little more than 12 months than his fourth album, Bruce Dickinsonâ??s solo career clicked into yet another higher gear in 1998 upon the release of the frankly monumental 'The Chemical Wedding'. Boasting the same line up as 'Accident Of Birth'â?? Bruce, Roy Z, Adrian Smith, bassist Eddie Casillas and drummer David Ingraham â?? it offered a vicious riposte to those cynics who thought that musicians of Bruceâ??s generation had lost touch with the way heavy music sounded. Both the heaviest record that Bruce has ever made and the finest set of songs in his illustrious canon, the album received ecstatic reviews, and was widely embraced by fans of both Bruceâ??s solo career and, of course, Maiden themselves. - RE-RELEASE INCL RARE BONUSTRACKS

The fifth solo album by English heavy metal singer Bruce Dickinson, released on 15 September 1998. Critical response to The Chemical Wedding was generally favourable, with AllMusic praising its "modern metal aesthetic". I recommend.

Possibly the best album of Bruce Dickinson's solo career. It's loosely conceptual and based on the works of the author William Blake. Musically it's a masterpiece, featuring some of the best guitar work from Adrian Smith and Roy Z.

Marco M. - 06/Sep/2017 5 of 5 Stars!
The album is a concept that revolves around William Blake's works. Dark and scary, terrifying and sweet, Blake's literature is rich in different meanings and admits dozens of interpretations: Bruce gives the one coming with the crossing of his voice and mind, preparing ofr us an heavy alchemic cocktail. "The Chemical Wedding" follows the same line: slightly less eclectic musical than "Accident Of Birth", the album is pretty easy to be pleasing at first listening.
