Two of the English rock group's LPs for MCA paired together, 1976's 'New England' & 1977's 'Front Page News'. A combined total of 19 tracks, including 'Mother of Pearl','(In All of My Dreams) You Rescue Me' and 'Goodbye Baby Hello Friend'. All tracks are digitally remastered from the original master tapes. Also features the original cover art of each LP and additional sleeve notes. Double slim line jewel case. 1998 release.

In the booklet (seems like on other releases too), the credits on the top of the credits page are mistakenly given to "Front Page News", instead of "New England" and on the bottom of the page mistakenly given to "New England", instead of "Front Page News". A release issued in a double jewel case with 12-page booklet. New England: Recording: Criterio/Metro Audio Mobile and Criteria Studio A. The basic tracks including all guitar, bass and drum parts were performed live in the basement at Mart's place, Laureledge, New England during the first two weeks of September. Vocals and remixes were done at Criteria Studios in Miami. All tracks published by JSE Music Publ. Ltd except Disc One tracks: 1, 3, 4 & 5 published by JSE Music Publ.
