Descripción:	Im Tal des Shangaan-Volkes wird der weiße Löwe Letsatsi geboren. Der Überlieferung zufolge sind diese überaus seltenen Tiere Botschafter der Götter. Ein Junge des Volkes, Gisani, rettet den kleinen Letsatsi vor einer Hyäne und fühlt sich fortan berufen, das Löwenjunge zu beschützen. Während die Jahre vergehen, lernt Letsatsi, sich in der Natur zu behaupten, und Gisani arbeitet als Fährtensucher. Als er erfährt, dass ein Trophäenjäger es auf den weißen Löwen abgesehen hat, um reiche Beute zu machen, versucht er mit aller Kraft, das heilige Tier zu schützen.
