Description:

Zyclope is the name of a current Spanish Progressive rock band, led by keyboards player Juan OLMOS. First album of the group, "Uno" (2004) has been published by the Musea label. It's an excellent surprise for all fans of sophisticated and refined music, similar to the one beloved by CAMEL, FOCUS or Steve HACKETT. Most of the time concise and instrumental, the twelve tracks appear to be melodious, and carefully worked-out. This Spanish sextet is made of nice musicians, as eclectic as they are sensitive. Flutes and violin parts give a certain neo-classic feel, combined with Mediterranean and medieval influences. Here's a refreshing and beautiful music, to be discovered urgently !
