Description:	Für sein epochales Filmprojekt über die Judenvernichtung hatte Claude Lanzmann Jan Karski 1978, zwei volle Tage interviewt. Der polnisch-katholische Widerstandskämpfer und legendäre Kurier der, polnischen Exilregierung war 1942 von Vertretern der polnischen Juden ins Warschauer Ghetto und in ein Konzentrationslager eingeschleust worden, um dann ab 1943 als Botschafter des Holocaust aus eigener Anschauung (Spiegel) der freien Welt von der Vernichtung der Juden in Polen Bericht zu erstatten. Die aufwühlende Erzählung seiner Ghettobesuche in Lanzmanns SHOAH ist unvergessen, wie aber verlief Karskis Besuch im Weißen Haus? Wie reagierten Franklin D. Roosevelt und andere führende Vertreter der freien Welt auf seinen ungeheuerlichen Bericht? All dies schildert Jan Karski nicht minder eindringlich in diesem zweiten bislang unveröffentlichten Teil des Interviews.
