There is sort of a Gothic fairy-tale residing in the music. The bass lines are so sexy, and every song sounds so perfectly heavy and melodic.

After releasing a masterpiece, the worlwide famous and worshipped Bloody Kisses, it would be hard to record an album with the same or close quality. But Type O negative reached a higher level with October Rust. This album presents great songs, including some darkest songs of the band, as Die With Me and Wolf Moon, but also some ballads and even dancing songs. Personally, it is a brillant album.
