The recording of the 1968 album The Notorious Byrd Brothers was a labour of love; it's more experimental and progressive than their previous works and is considered one of the best albums they made. -

This release features the price code 'CB 741'. For an otherwise identical release with the price code 'CB 681', see [r=5811319]. Packaged in a Sony Music jewel case with a clear tray and a two-sided insert. 12-page booklet includes an essay, song notes, credits and archive photography. Some copies feature a gold/black 'nice price' sticker which reads "SPECIAL COLLECTOR'S EDITION 20 BIT DIGITAL RE-MASTER COMPLETE WITH ALL ORIGINAL ARTWORK PLUS BONUS TRACKS". Cat.
