This version of Byzantium + Bonus comes as a 1xCD. - RE-ISSUE OF 1987 TUXEDO MOON MEMBERBlaine L. Reininger is one of the creative mainsprings behind the cult avant-garde band Tuxedo moon. As a solo artist he has made some ten solo albums including Broken Fingers (1982) Night Air (1984) Live in Brussels (1986) Instrumentals (1989) & the More I Learn (2000). Most appeared on the Crepuscule label. Byzantium is his fourth solo album for Crepuscule recorded in 1986/87 with noted engineer Gilles Martin. The original eight tracks have now been increased to 16 & now.Tracks 1 to 8 inclusive originally released as the album [r=691365] on Les Disques du Crepuscule (TWI 767) in April 1987. Recorded at Daylight Studio, Bruxelles, between October 1986 and January 1987. Track 4 recorded in 1986.
Tracks 9 to 13 originally released on the mini album [r=362401] on Les Disques du Crepuscule (TWI 380) in July 1985. Recorded at ICP Studios, Bruxelles, January 1985.
Track 14 originally released as a limited 12" single ([r=1055772]) on Materiali Sonori records (MASO 70001) in early 1987. Engineered at Soundworks, Bruxelles, late 1986.
Track 15 originally released as a 7" single on Normal Records (Normal 55) and a 12" single ([m=189845] on Les Disques du Crepuscule (TWI 758) in December 1987.
Track 16 is a home demo track recorded in Holland in 1986 and later released on a limited edition 7" ([r=1381504]) single given free with an Italian music magazine.
