Description:In 1991 electronic duo Ultramarine recorded their landmark album Every Man & Woman is a Star which was re-released by LTM/Darla to widespread acclaim in 2002. Companion collects together the various remixes released on the US & UK versions of the 1992 ep Nightfall in Sweetleaf together with a host of other alternative versions & previously unheard tracks from the same sessions. The star remixers include Spooky Sweet Exorcist (Richard H Kirk) Coco Steel & Lovebomb & Ultramarin.
A collection of alternative versions of material from "[m=33359]", including all tracks from the 1992 EP "Nightfall In Sweetleaf" plus previously unreleased material. All tracks recorded or remixed between 1990 and 1993. Tracks 1, 3 to 7 originally released as "[r=118174]" (CD/12" EP, Rough Trade R2943, 1992) Track 1 recorded at Banana Harvest, London "live on a hot August night" Track 2 remixed at William Orbit's studio, London and originally released on US-only release of "[r=32087]" (CD/12" EP, Dali 0-66324, 1993) Track 3 remixed at Boundary Row, London Track 4 remixed at Western Works, Sheffield (later edited down at an unknown location for inclusion here) Tracks 5 & 7 recorded at Banana Harvest, London Track 6 remixed at Studio Lovebomb, Brighton Track 8 recorded at Banana Harvest, London - previously unreleased Tracks 9, 12, 14 recorded at Boundary Row, London, May 1991 - previously unreleased Track 10 recorded at Boundary Row, London. Originally released on [r=118471] compilation CD (CD, Volume v4cd, 1992) Track 11 edit of sessions for "[r=56704]" (12", Brainiak BRAINK11, 1991) - previously unreleased Track 13 is an alternate version of a track recorded at Boundary Row, London.
